Let's show all of our teachers how much we appreciate them, 
they don't know so this will be a surprise!

Monday - Bring a piece of fruit

Thursday - Draw a picture

Jueves - Un dibujo

Friday - A special treat of your choice!

South Hills Community Park Dedication

South Hills Elementary PTA Members:

You are cordially invited!

What? The dedication of the South Hills Community Park 

When? Sunday, April 29, 5 p.m., 

Where? In the park located on the corner of Bilglade and Rector across from South Hills Elementary and adjacent to South Hills Christian Church. 

The first phase of this pocket park includes sidewalks, a shaded and lighted arbor with seating, and a 3-level drinking fountain for adults, children and pets. 

Plans for the future include landscaping and a labyrinth for meditation.

Saturday, April 21 is PTA Day at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. PTA members and their families get FREE admission to all exhibits from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Here's the catch: You MUST RSVP so a visitors badge will be ready and waiting for you.

If you're interested in attending, please send names of attendees to southhillspta@gmail.com by April 6.

P.S. The Annual Meeting of the Fort Worth Independent School District Council of PTAs will be held at the Modern at 1 p.m. We invite you to attend!

McKinney Bible Church is helping with our Garden Clean-Up 3/31/12 ~ Let's Volunteer to help!

McKinney Bible Church will be doing a big Garden Clean-up at our school!Saturday, March 31 starting at 8 a.m. til noon.  VOLUNTEER and HELP US CLEAN UP OUR GARDEN!

The cleanup will involve litter pickup, weed removal and pruning. If you have your own gardening tools, gloves, etc. please bring them!
